Possible 4WD Issue

Morning all,

It is very cold here this morning (around 8 degrees). While coming into work this morning, I noticed I had left my HI 4WD locked from the night before. I was almost at highway speed when I noticed. I backed of on the throttle and hit the button for the normal, full-time 4WD selection. The button flashed for several seconds but it did not disengage. I shifted into neutral and let it slow to around 40 mph and then tried the button again. That time it disengaged.

Was something frozen because of the temperature, was I going too fast for it to disengage properly, or I am starting to experience a noteworthy problem? Has anyone else experienced this?
