This whole issue gets me FIRED UP. First off if every car in USA got 100 MPG the difference to the planet as a whole and to the supply of fossil fuel in the great scheme of things would be SMALL. There are many other things that are much, much worse for the planet than the gas milage your car gets.
I am in the aviation industry and even the small jets burn HUNDREDS of gallons an hour....I am shooting myself in the foot here but the truth is the truth. The airlines and corporate aviation through out the world are the things that will drink this planet dry of fuel....So Drive your Hummer proudly and safely and forget those @@SHOLES.
