Maybe we could all benefit more from inputs on that subject.

The overuse of "smiles" or "emoticons" makes a post look like it is written by a 2-year old. Remember -- less is more.

Take a moment to proof-read your post. Some of you have issues with grammar and spelling. If you teachers failed you in the past, use a tool such as Firefox. It has an automatic spell-checker that will help you with your posts as you type them. If you see an error, use the forum's edit feature and correct it. (Look I edited this post to add an "emoticon".)

If you don't know anything about a particular topic, pulling facts and figures out of the air helps no one, and may even cause problems. If you are going to copy something from the Internet as if it is something you said -- don't. Quote the source, so the original author can receive their due credit, and the "fact" can be more closely verified.

Try to be respectful to your fellow forum members, females, gays, etc. For example, your aviator. The forum rules you agreed to when joining state -- "By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws."

I am proud to be a HUMMER owner. Please make me proud to be a part of a community of helpful, respectful, and knowledgeable HUMMER owners.

I wish you all a safe and happy Labor Day.

You state Aviator, did you try too say Avatar?
