Default Re: From Land Rover to H2?

I owned a 97 Defender 90 for 5 years and the argument could be made for it being one of the most if not THE MOST capable off road vehicle built for on and off road. It was a tough little truck and never left me sitting. If I broke something, typically it was my fault and any one who knew which end of a wrench goes on the nut could fix it. Then again 40 years of production will tend to perfect a platform. That being said I LOVE my H2 and the 2 vehicles could not be more different. Driving the Defender was, well.... raw... It was noisy, bouncy, really cold or really hot depending on the season ( I did not have a Hard Top)! On the other hand...... My H2 goes anywhere I want to go (As long as the trail is WIDE enough) In luxurious Style and by that I mean that it is as capable as its driver and will take you where ever you want to go along with 4 other people all their gear in a Climate Controlled cabin featuring Sat Nav, Satellite Radio and Heated leather seats.... Do I miss my Defender? Yea a Little...would I give up my H2?..... all i have to say is, they will have to pry my dead fingers from its leather wrapped steering wheel.....
