Default 04 H2 XM and ONSTAR

Hello all...I am Jorge...I am new to the forums and I have just purchased an 04 H2...of course music is my thing but technical inginuity is not...and this is my first bunch of questions for you all...thanks in advance for all your replies...

I have an 04 H2 with the non-nav 6-disc stock radio. I change the source to 1 or 2 and I hear the preview channel stations on XM but when I looked for the unit behind the glovebox, it was not there. Do I even have the XM unit possibly hidden somewhere else? Why do I hear the preview station? Where do I find the Radio ID number? I have an existing XM account, can I switch it over to the H2? I have 2 antennas on my roof, one is a sharkfin type antenna and the other is a little rectangular shaped one with 2 wires coming from it, is this the XM antenna? I tried calling XM tech support but the automated sytem gave me the run around today for awhile and I got fed up. They also told me that OnStar would be able to tell me what my radio ID is if it is installed in my H2. Is this true?

Now onto OnStar. I have tried to access the OnStar system but it says something about analog to digital changes as of January 1, 2008 and I will have to contact the dealer to have them install the correct part for this for $15. That's not an issue. I went to OnStar's site and I see the $199 special but reading the fine print, I see that they are going to charge me an extra $100 if I activate the OnStar after February 20, 2007. Is this true? If so, shouldn't they just say $299? Has anyone else had this part installed for the digital signal? Has anyone activated their system after that date and paid the $199? Will all current OnStar customers with analog have to change to digital eventually for their system to work?
