JMS, the premise behind Les's shows are that he's doing a normal activity, but gets lost or has a problem. He "lost" a motor in the boat episode, once "crashed" a plane in the Canadian tundra, "lost" his way while dog sledding, etc...

Anyway, the title of the thread is "Coolest Canadian" and I don't think Bear is Canadian.

Hey Carey, did you climb Mt Mitchell near Asheville? We haven't climbed it, but have stayed nearby several times. Old Hiker has climbed it. Where were you in NC?
