37x13.5's on factory 17's?

I've decided to black out my stock wheels and roll with those, incase anyone cares ! I'm still debating on the type of tire I'm going to run though, I've had all sorts of a/t styles but have used the BFG's for the past 6 years. They are great for the most part but anything after 6-8" of snow and they are pretty much worthless, as far as ice as concerned, short of studded and ice specific tires I don't really think any tire is that great on ice. That being said, do any of you have first hand experience with MTR style tires in deep snow/ice? They sand and salt the piss out of the roads up here and the fact that I've grown up driving on ice doesn't make me all that worried about the "they suck on ice!!!" comments, if anything its usually hardpacked sand/S-nice mixtures that cover the roads for most of the winter.

I've narrowed my choices down to;
1. GY MTR Kevlar - plenty of siping and that tighter row of lugs in the center makes me think this would give the best traction out of the rest for hardpack situations while still digging its way through the deep stuff with the open lugs on the outside
2. TOYO Open Country MTR - I'm running Toyo's now and am blown away by the ride, despite some negative comments on them, similar siping and tread to the Cooper STT's, which I've heard good things about on snow/ice/hardpack
3. Nitto mud grapplers - Lets face it, their nasty looking! Although with the big lugs and minimal siping I have a feeling these would handle the worst of the 3 when it came to anything other than deep, DEEP snow.
