Default Congnito Tie Rods

I've got the truck in for some suspension work and the dealer just told me that I've got play in my front wheels and that he won't be able to align it properly...he said the tie rods need replaced. Not a huge deal, as I've been eyeing the DMAX Kryptonite rods for a while now; and the order just went in (woohoo).

...but it makes me wonder about the quality of Cognito's parts. I had their tie rods put in about 1 1/2 - 2 years (& 30,000 miles) ago and I really thought they'd last longer then that. I did the Cognito UCA and pitman idler bits at the same time...it kinda has me wondering about the durability of those parts as well.

Has anyone else experienced premature wear on their Cognito parts?

Has anyone broken a Kryptonite rod? Anyone with experience on how they wear after 15k plus miles?
