Default Leveling Kit Install

I have a 2008 H2 and have been toying with the idea of installing a leveling kit. I?m not going to install larger tires, it is strictly for looks. I called the dealer, from which I bought it from, and he quoted $640. That seems kind of steep. I know some of you have done this on your own. Have any of you done it on a 2008? How difficult/easy was it? Will I need to replace the front shocks as well? Do you have to have the wheels re aligned afterwards and how has it affected the ride quality on the street. I?m somewhat ashamed to admit it, but I have only been off road 3 to 4 times. Also where did you get the kit from and what was the part number.

I?m not a complete mechanical novice, but get nervous working on the suspension. I have access to a wide variety of tools.

Thank you in advance.
