Cab Roof Light Question

Arizona Hummerboy is an unknown quantity at this point

I had a cab roof light go out on me. My question is do I have to replace the hole unit? or does the little bulb come out of the housing unit? The parts house has a small bulb for it, and we try every way go remove the bulb with no luck.
Does anyone have info on this? From the looks of it , it looks like I might have to go to the dealership and buy the whole unit
