Rock Rail / Side Step x-change

Just got off the phone with my dealer,

I asked if he would exchange my barely used (2 weeks) chrome side steps for a set of rocker protection.
He said he could give me $300.00 for my side steps (worth 588.00 new) and would charge me $550.00 for the pocker protection installed (normally $629.00)

Question is two fold:
yes? or no?

and

does anyone want to buy my chrome side steps??????
