Avis H3 rental, very good

Hey everyone, my H3 order was held up
over 2 months because of 5-speed manual
transmission parts, and I was not being
kept informed very well, so I'm just going
to bag it for now -- maybe next spring
I'll get one.

In the meantime I rented an H3 from Avis
for a week-long vacation! Glad they're making
them available and I hope they keep competing
with Jeep and others nicely and pushing
the price down and volume up. I don't need
exclusivity, just functionality and style.

The Avis H3 I rented had only 300 miles on it
when I got it, and it has leather interior.
No diff lock. Wonderful ride and performance,
and 17 MPG on the first tank of gas
(134.6 miles took 7.74 gallons).
