Show us the photos once you are done. I might just be crazy enough to install them too. Some might say a middle age man trying to grab on to youth, but it will be exciting, and just crazy enough to add some zest to my life.

You're not serious are you? H2 doesn't get enough attention?
I don't understand why anybody would install a neon kit unless it was used as an advertising show piece. Other than that.. it's nasty.

What branch of British military did you serve in as a real man?
I sometimes think draft should be reinstated to make some real men out of make-believe real men, and to teach them some core value and manner. Life in the military is harsh and unpleasant, those who play soldiers will never understand. Only by being on duty away from family for extended time make you appreciate every minute you have with your wife and children. Offroad was not a hobby but a daily routine you hated, Jeeps were no toys but just tools, shooting was work because you have to clean it, 24/7/365 just inches away from 100 sweaty buddies was not by choice, daily 5 miles run with full gear at 0600 was not excise but torture. Real Men? Looks who's talking. Hahaha.
Call me a sissy if you want, I spend my weekends with my wife and children, not a minute I can afford to waste.
My friend Paragon, I didn't think you could understand much of my words, but you are still my friend. It is only funny to think that anyone believes $thousands in damages mean nothing to any working men with wife and children and mortgage and small businesses or cubicle jobs.

The more I look at these things (that I've despised for so long) the more I can see their value for wheeling at night. They would be perfect for illuminating the underside of the H2 making the spotter's job that much easier.
I'd definitely get one color(probably white) and skip the gay rainbow flag feature. I'll leave that to the little homo WhiteH2Kid.

Please kindly show us some pictures, we like to see. I thought the one Hummer33 saw maybe was badly installed. The correct directions and positions of the tubes should prevent illuminating the underbody, it is for ground lighting.
I can imagine it is not easy to take a picture of Hummer at night with neon lights.
How many colors do you have?
I personally think just blue or just white color should be cool.

Mac,
You rarely make much sense but now you seem to be contradicting yourself. Are you relevent to yourself. You "complained" about people who offroad breaking and damaging their vehicles. But now say you went offroad and it was boring and stupid?
Nothing boring about avoiding damaging your vehicle on a big rock. So did your offroad experience consist of a drive on someone's gravel driveway.

You could get a set of white neons. As mentioned offroaidng to light under the truck. Or wire them so when you open the door they turn on and could be used to light the ground/side steps. Just an Idea

Preach to us from atop your pedestal.
Surely you've attended the Bill Clinton school of misdirection and double-speak, you just don't employ it very well.
Mac, most everyone has "real" friends and family to come to their aid. They don't need to join a group to feel like they have a new friend. By the way, those are acquaintances, not friends you have, look into it.
No one here has said a derogatory comment against volunteerism and no one except you are holding their unselfish contributions over the heads of other forum members. Give it a rest, Fantasy Island is no more.

Carey, I am a San Franciscan so naturally I/we am quite used to gays and we interact with gays and lesbians like straights or anybody else, they are everywhere and in every part of the social and business fabrics. Tolerence is part of the San Francisco tradition which we take great pride in, from the days of the hippies. That does not mean I agree with it or if that is normal, and I am annoyed by the high profile, constant noise and political agenda they are always pushing. Likewise I am very uncomfortable to see men kissing or holding hands, or women kissing and holding hands but that is so common here, nobody take a second look.
At this point, I am confused about gay marriage. On one hand I crossed the bridge and say let them do it, its their choice; on the other hand, it seems all wrong and against thousands of years of human tradition and value, and what wrong message it sends to the children and the society at large.
I'd be interested to see what others here think about this. There maybe some surprises.

I'm starting to get the feeling that Mac is pulling a Zero Tolerance on us and maybe embellishing just a wee bit.

drtyfn, are you coming down to San Francisco this weekend to get married? driving or flying?
Thousands are lining up in City hall to get married, including many homosexuals flew in from all over the country. The City Hall should take in about $50,000 in marriage license fee this weekend. 590 same sex marriages were done on Friday, assembly line style.
The hearing is set for Tuesday at 2PM for an injunction, it is likely the judge may stop the same sex marriage. You better hurry! The City Hall is open everyday during the long 3 days weekend, better not miss the opportunity, who knows when the next chance will be.
Don't call me, I'll call you.

This is why you need to get it installed by somebody very good where they will position the lights so it all hits the ground. Also the L.E.D underglow is ALOT brighter. Mine lights up the entire ground and looks amazing!
