To put this in another perspective, she raised a son with courage and a willingness to sacrifice himself your all of us. She must not be all bad if this is the end product of her child rearing abilities. He must have been an extraordinary person as I know I wouldn't have the courage to go to another country and put myself in firing range of the terrorists that now reside in Iraq. So while you all sit back in your lazy boys sipping your latte, try to have a little compassion and think how you'd feel if your child never came home.

So she went a little nuts and is denouncing the war and taking photo ops with people she probably shouldn't be affiliating herself with. She's mourning the loss of her son whose very existence allows us the opportunity to have freedom. Her son's courage afforded her, and everyone else in this country, the ability to have freedom of expression and speech. You wish to squelch this and shut her up? If you ask me, the content of the postings on this board are what is disgracing her son's memory and sacrifice - sacrifice for you, lest you forget.

It truly is a shame that she is belittling the sacrifice of everyone in this war just to publicize her political agenda. I would have to bet that she had no problem with the military training her son and the college fund he would get after done if that is what he was in for. It amazes me that people have no problem with their children being in the military unless they actually have to do what they are trained to do. I commend and appreciate every member of our military for what they do. Personally I think her son has probably been turning in his grave since she started this crap and she wouldn't care in the least because it is all about her and her agenda.

What pisses me off is that her son gave the ultimate sacrifice. The most noble thing you can do for your country. She is defaming and belittling his sacrifice, the war, the men and women that still fight it.
