I'm down in central Florida now and it is currently 82. I hear I have to go home Sunday to possibly some wintry weather. Noob, this is some great weather down here.

I'm going home tonight or the in morning. Undecided still. So no, I can't come lend you a heavy jacket for the week. Even if I could, I'm afraid there might not be enough room in the chest for you anyhow While I'm not super trim, I don't have man boobs like churchy does
Layers truly are better than just a heavy coat. T-shirt + long sleeve shirt + sweater/sweatshirt + a moderately heavy coat should be sufficient in lieu of a really heavy coat for getting around from vehicle to building without being too miserable. If you go to downtown Minneapolis, you may have to walk a few blocks outdoors though if it's night time. So do wear a hat gloves and scarf if you can.

Guess there is no need to pack a suitcase, you should probably just wear all the cloths you are taking at the same time

Besides freezing my a$$ off?
Obviously went to the Mall Of America (twice), went to Holluhan's in Chanhassen, ate at Tucci (awesome Gnocchi), got lost on the interstate (twice), Not really a whole lot. It's no fun touring a new city alone.

If everything in Vegas stays in Vegas, are you allowed to answer this question before someone actually gets to Vegas?

Okay. That's farther out to the South West.
There's an outdoor Arboretum if you can handle the cold outside.
Plus Paisley Park is out there. I'd google to see what kind of public access there is.
Also, just south of there in Prior Lake, there's Mystic Lake Casino. I don't gamble, nor have I been there, but if you need a fix and a quick way to lose money, it's there.

Hihummer! I can't believe you picked the coldest possible weekend to visit Minneapolis.
Too bad I didn't see this thread sooner, I would have met ya at the MOA or Houlihans and bought you dinner. I work in Edina, probably 10-15 minutes from Chanhassan.
I ended up going 3 hrs north of the twin cities with a couple of high school buddies to go snowmobiling/ice fishing on the 17th thru 19th. It was 22 below when I got there Friday night @ 1:30AM, unloaded the snowmobile and rode it 1/2 mile through the woods to an hunting shack with only a barrel stove for heat! That was cold! I'm still sick!
Anyways, hope you had a good trip.
