My hat's off!

I think it looks great - with more and more H2's showing up on the road this is exactly the ticket to set us apart from others.

Where can I get a set of Zebra stripes?

I designed some graphics then got a little carried away!

Hummer Man, to put it bluntly, Why do you have to be such and idiot! From reading your past post, you never have anything nice to say about anything. The graphics are a unique expression of NVR STUCK tastes. I personally applaud him for making such a bold statement with his truck. As for you, your credibility is somewhat questionable. First with yourstatement on being able to supply the Hummer fuel doors and second with your numerous one line posts which give no constructive criticism at all. If you want to build up the amount of posts you have, atleast do it with an intelligent post that people would want to read.

How about mud flames coming over the hood?

Anyone remember the 5.9 Limited Grand Cherokee ads of 1998? They had the Grand done up like that. I think they used that spray on bedliner stuff to do it, so the "mud" had a texture.

Alos the zebra strip idea is cool, although a bit dated. You might also be mistaken for Ted Nugent. Which might not be a bad thing, actually. People would probably give you a real wide berth if they thought you were the Nuge.

edit: found a pic of the Jeep.

That's hilarious - it does look like Rhino Spray-On Bed Liner.

I love it. You even captured the BFG tread pattern. That's detail.
I think it makes your H2 look tough. It's been run over and not a scratch. Now that's tough!

I bet you're going to have a lot of people stopping you on the road to ask where you got that from.

Keep up the good work.

Hummer Man, applaud people for their individuality and willingness to do something that no one else is doing. That is true customizing.
I for one love to see what people have done to their rides, no matter what it is.

I like the H2 on the hood the best, and then the HUMMER on the sides.

As long as you like the design, nothing else should matter.

NVR STUCK

I suppose you posted these pictures because you want everybody's candid opinion. Well it looks like you got some! I like the tire tracks on the side, the large "Hummer", the "no limits" and the "vortec". The tire tracks on the hood and back might be a bit much for me.

I think you are ahead of your time. As the Hummer gets more common people may be even more interested in seeing custom graphics and paint. All in all your truck looks great, I love the pewter and I think you're custom graphics show great individuality and personality. Did the custom shop say anything to you about how long you could leave the graphics on your truck before it would affect the paint permanently? Was it expensive?

As you may or may not know I still do not have my H2 yet. I would have purchased it already if I could just make up my mind what color I want. I too am very interested in adding custom graphics and paint. So for me it makes the decision harder because now I'm trying to decide what color would lend itself to the graphics schemes I am considering. If I don't decide on something soon I think my wife will have me committed.

PhilD

LOL. My wife told me the same thing when I asked her what she thought of black zebra stripes on my Suburban. It's a good thing that some of us men have wives or we'd be riding around in the ugliest trucks we could possibly conjure up.

Speaking of ugly, or maybe not, I'll let you guys decide. I have been playing in Photoshop again. A Hummer dealer in New Jersey was nice enough to let me have a yellow H2 for a 24-hour testdrive. When I had it at my house I took some pictures of it and I have been playing with them. Keep in mind, it has the chrome package and the truck I want, would not. It will also have a black full size safari rack and tire on top. Yes, NVR Stuck I know you just love this combination! Ha ha.

Candid opinions are welcome. Is this a loser idea, or is there some way to make this look good. The theme of course is that the safari truck is out on the Serengeti. Enjoy.

Cheers

Looks pretty cool. Certainly sets your truck apart. Is that a decal that has been applied or actually painted on...

Sorry to ruin your day Hummer Man, but yes they are real. I feel the same way about Gobi racks and tires stuck on top as you apparently feel about my graphics. To each their own. Enjoy your Hummer, Hummer Man. I can only assume yours is perfect and everyone loves what you have done to it. I do have more pictures I can send to you if you need additional targets for your dart board.

wannabe

Neat! I think this scheme would work best on either a yellow or black H2. For some reason I like the 2nd one better.

I've tried the photoshop thing but all of my results looks like I turned my 6yr old loose on my H2 with a box of crayons or bucket of paint.

I hope that is PHOTO SHOP and not for real!! That may be the worst use of graphics I have ever seen and has for sure set a new low for H2's.

I like it, if for no other reason than because Hummer Man doesn't.

Nice job! I especially like the Vortec stuff on the hood edges.

I rather like it. It brings out your own personality. Wait until the dealers see it as someone will copy it..
