$32K would not even cover the typical down payment on a house loan around here. But so what!
You live in a cheap area, but so what?

thanks for the advice. Seller does not have a carfax. I was hoping someone here might be willing to help me out with that.

So please.

Peter </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Sorry I don't have unlimited access to CARFAX neither. But I'd be very very careful buying any used car over ebay or anywhere sight unseen I'm sure you've been warned but I had to warn you again.

For this specific vehicle, I clicked around for you and noticed the seller feedback (3rd one) it had an incomplete transaction but take a look at the closing price. Also, I'd question the fact why on earth would anyone sell this vehicle "no reserve" and the current bidding price is well below the trade in value?

In case you are not familiar with the used car market, you can find a lot of info at the following sites:

http://www.autobaron.com
http://www.autotrader.com
http://www.edmunds.com
http://www.kbb.com

By looking up the current market value, at least you'd know if something is extraordinary cheap and if it's too good to be true, it probably is

Not my fault you live in an overpriced Yuppie Hell. And if you cannot get a Loan with 32K down, you must hvae a FICO score around 500.

Seeing as mine is around 700, and I got approved for 110K with 2K down, 5% fixed for 15 years.

EVEN WITH a Fico score around 450, you should be able to get a loan for at LEAST 320K with a 32K downpayment. 10% is usually the norm. Sounds like you have one of those "Interest Only" Loans happening. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

FWIW, nobody gives a flying fudge what you got approved for!!!

Wilfred, thanks for all your help.
I spke with seller on the phone yesterday, and he said that "it was sold" three times now, but the winners did not follow through the deal.
He saids he is sick and needs to sell the car.
I dont know.
I was just now offered a 04 lux w 25000 miles for 37300 from a dealer.
Maybe that is a better deal.

But thanks for helping

Peter
