We talked about doing it awhile ago when we read the two part article in either Four Wheeler or the Off Road Adventures (free publication from 4 wheel parts). I've been looking for that article ever since I signed up for this trip with no luck. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Thanks for the tip. August and September '05 Four Wheeler. I just ordered back issues.
I imagine we'll end up with one or two non-Hummer trucks.

Ree and DDWH -- can we assume your presence on this thread is an indication of your intent to attend? It's an easy flight and I'm two miles from the Vegas the airport ... </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I would like to, and had contemplated it when it was first talked about. I just have way too much stuff going on right now(both work and honeydews). Hopefully when the next one rolls around I will be good to go

ps - nothing exciting - rules and regs from the NPS, etc.
Thanks Rodster, for the price I think I'l get the permanent install. I found a good price on it the one you recommended from radio shack a block away from my office here. What do you guys do - run the twin external antennas?
Cringing at the thought of running another wire down the column after running wires for the OR lights.

Repair? or Replacement? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Good point. Replacement (in the field) would make sense, yes? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Nope. From what my buddy tells me it's very simple...a "cake walk" were his exact words. He even said a tie rod fork was unnecessary and that he'd show me "a little trick to replacing them". I plan to do it myself with him instructing me. I'll be ready for it if it happens.
BTW - Rod, did you say you had a air filler unit? Any idea what the PSI output is? If it's within range I'll bring air wrenches to make any repairs even easier. I'll also bring a torque wrench. geeez, I need to make a list.
