When I bought my H2 in July I was told any off road damage is NOT covered by warrenty. I dont know if they just say that or if thats true. I wouldn't mention that you were off roading, perhaps if you have to, tell them you were pulling a boat or something. And you were doing it under normak conditions.

You were within the intended limits of the vehicle.
Had you driven through 40 inches of water and flooded the engine, they'd say FU. But some light mudding is well within your H2s capabilities.
Yes, it sounds like you broke a tooth off in one of the diffs. Tell the dealer to give you a rental and call you when its fixed. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Should i tell them i was off road with it? I wasnt even reving it hard or slamming from drive to forward.....i had it in reverse in four low and it started to spin to about 3000rpm then bang.....all over from there

I'm calling your dealership right away to let them know you took your vehicle offroad.
No warranty for you....ONE YEAR! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Why?????? It was well within its limits!!! and they know anyway.... Warrenty covers broken parts even if you were offroading.. unless they are caused by impact, jumping or other activities behind the h2 limits. I was well with the trucks limits, so go find something better to do with your time loser! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Calm down, he was joking </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Ok .....sorry have been a little wound up over this one. Reading his post was just another log on fire for me!!!

yeah it is a huge relief. They said long as there is no signs that it was caused by impact there will be no problems.
feel alot better today and i know there was no impact to cause it. Also getting both mirrors replaced as well..

any hell one more.......the worst part is i got stuck at 4:30pm and finally got a farmer with a four wheel drive tractor at 10:30pm to come down and pull me out from behind.. Called a tow truck company and he told me to fu&& myself at 7:00.. and had 3 four wheel drives and comealongs but none would move this tank. I will always wave at the farmers from now on!!!! But just for the record i did make it through the mean mud hole twice before getting stuck!! One guys said there has been 4 trucks in two weeks stuck here and one was there for 3 days before they got it out. Im not so sure ill try this one again!

Sounds like the tranny, or transfer case. Yes I am sure it will be covered. I would wash it first though!

Did they cover it? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Oh hell no. The won't cover any of my drivetrain around here. Maybe at home.
But you should have no problem with the coverage. Mine's a special case.
