One of my High School buddies was in that church and instead of getting his mom to a Doctor they watcher her die of a cancer that was easily treated if found eairly. His attitude changed quick, but too late for his mother. Wait till Tom "i like to cruize" is old and in pain. Seen any old Church of Scientology folks?

Are you all serious? Is there anyone here who would decline relations with this woman because of her toe? If so, let me be the first to say, LIAR!

Uhm... very very happy? Or is he very very very very "happy"?

The film industry and related fields comprise a fairly small community here in L.A. (I used to be a cinematographer). Cruise' preference has never really been in question, here. It's pretty well established that he's a turd burglar. Notwithstanding this, the guy is a very talented actor. As far as the Scientology thing goes, I'm ambivalent. On the one hand, I think everyone ought to be free to choose what they believe, up to the point of not abridging the rights of others. On the other hand, I know some recovered Scientologists who were involved at the highest levels (C-corps and above). They say that the "church" exacts extreme percentages of believers’ incomes and is extremely corrupt and hedonistic at the very highest levels.
I have nothing against hedonism per se, but flagrant hypocrisy is difficult for me.
