seriously? I haven't seen one anywhere for less than 44. Is 38,000 really all that dealers are giving on trade? I am using the term friend in the loosest possible context in regards to the dealer. I know he is still trying to make money.

Now is the difficult time. Don't blow it by letting her know what you are up to. You many want to slightly disagree with her on the color something benign like this:
But honey, what's your opinion on the pewter? Do you think it looks more bold (bold doesn't mean anything and won't offend her). After she makes some comment about how the white is better quickly agree like this (make it sound reluctant like you're giving in):
Well, you're probably right. I suppose given where we live and the fact that there really aren't that many white ones out there will make a pretty big difference. Then say: Well, let's get this done and get home. (this is the best because you can go either way with this comment. She could either balk at you like what do you mean "get it done" I'm not ready to buy this stupid thing! OR why don't you come back tomorrow on your own time and do the paperwork, I'm not very good at it. If you get the first response just say what you meant was let's get home, I wasn't saying let's just run in the office and sign the paper.
At all costs cover your ass and continue to make it her decision. Before you know you'll have your H2. I believe there is quite a kick as dealership there in St. Louis too!

Her Rover is much more expensive too so she has nothing to say . I love that woman .
Now I'm lookin around for an RV that will tow the H2.

You gotta admit though, reading Buckeye's last post, you gotta admire how he handles those "Delicate" situations. If he runs his relationship like his rock climing....he's got it made .

Buckeye - Isn't the tax benefit (besides the inherent higher price - up to the $100K IRS limit) the same for the H1 as the H2?

Chrissy, you little wannabe turd!!! Would you just sit there at your parents house and lurk!!! Your posts are worthless. You didn't need to let everyone know that you got a chuckle out of someone else's post, like you always do!!!

Sorry, Alec I was in the bathroom hugging the procelain goddess with the thought of a mini-van. But wait, it would be a mini van AND an H1. Is it worth it or should I just stick with the H2 and a Tahoe? I feel so confused, must go to my therapist.

bamf, yes it is up to the limit but I wouldn't pay that much for an H1 (probably 70k tops) and second my company has not exhausted 100k in equipment purchases so it's a nice fit but still probably won't happen. Nice to dream though!
