P, you are running the Tangos? Are they white or amber? Do you know of a source for the amber? I'll check Daniel Stern. Are there PIAA's which you think are best? If so, which ones with and which without the metal valance?

Mine are not amber but they make some type of amber lens cover for them.

I doubt you could go wrong with PIAA or other major companies on the fogs.

I had to cut the plastic valance to get the Tangos to fit and there were no PIAAs that would fit otherwise (this was before the metal valance came out).

It's pretty easy to modify the plastic to accomodate up to a little over a 5" diameter light but PIAA makes the 510 ion crystal which might be the best option for you.

Hey Phil:

I did go with the '03 Lincoln Navigator fogs as a replacement...they have been great! They have taken a few rock hits and have cracked. I will replace them probably with the same fixture because the bulb is a common one, like a 9003, 9004, or 9005 (a standard high beam headlight bulb). They give off "great" lighting. Easy to install with minor cutting and a quick replacement of the bulb socket using sockets taken from an auto salvage yard, headlight.

My question now is...Will the new H3 fixture fit/work in our H2's without too much modification? They look a bit large, but I will be looking at them in detail soon.

Hum2, how do they install? Do they attach to the fascia (valance) like the DRL's, or do you need to drill the bumper as with the PIAA's and Cibie's?

Thanks Phil:

I'm a bit slow responding sometimes/ever!

Tower: I also wired in bulb bases obtained from a salvage yard with high beam bulbs...I think a 9003/4/5 rather than having purchased the Navigator
wiring harness which was major expensive. Search for our past threads on DRL's.
