Also looks the the Hummer's love affair with rust will be part of the vehicle as well judging by the pics. What is the best way to protect that once you get a new H3?

I can't wait for people to post more pics, it would be cool to see one of these off road!

Here's some more pics;

Thanks for the follow up. Camera angles can be deceiving. It's just in those first shots of the Yellow one the front skid plate looks higher. I'm completly happy with my H2 and after doing a local run this weekend where an H1 lost his trans and another one had some kind of issue I don't need to look any further than my driveway for the truck of my dreams.

Phil your absolutely right about the rock rails. I was just assuming that there were going to be rock rails on the finished h3 and that if they were, they would be higher than the ones on the h2.
But what was on the one that was parked next to me in that picture was just some kmart plastic

not to worry as I'm shure that there are lots of after market goodies in the works as we speak.
In fact I don't see rock rails or rocker panel protection listed as an option. Does anyone know if this even offered on the H3?
th rails and all of the underbody protection is an option... even whne you order the Adventure package, it is not standard. Check out hummer's site when you build one and you have to add all 3 options. Kinda strange it wasn't set up as options packages like the H2.

Wow, good catch! Thanks for the pics, I am very happy I went with the H2. Side by side, the H3 looks like the H2's little retarded brother.
BTW< you can build an H3 at Hummer.com, and rockers are an option......
The H3 I built costs 31,600.00

ditto...
and a lot less ground clearance than the liberty.
there is a lot of stuff hanging down under there.
and there isn't much protecting it.
I was there when phil took his pics and we didn't
have any good comments other than the interior was pretty nice.
don't get caught between the rear hatch when it
is closing - you will lose an extremity.

Yah. but it's a really cute little brother. All you guys are talking about buying one for your GF. I'm wondering, can you order the GF as an option on these?

GM did a pretty good job. The h3 looks agile to me and will probably do well on most trails.
I'm still waiting for the Jeep Rescue though, I hope they make that concept, very cool AND will make GM and AMG continue to improve their product.

F350 or Ranger? I'm glad they made it with the Hummer "look". I wonder if they ride good.
