You are correct Hummer Girl, the Hummer is related to Jeep wich was at one time owned by AMC then spun off into AM General(Hummer) and Hummer was bought by GM.

There ya go....beatiful scenary and a great way to spend some time with friends...but not the most challenging of areas. We had a few mudholes, some loose stuff and even a rut or two. We all agreed that a BMW or Mercedes SUV would certainly had trouble...but this trail was no match for anything with the Hummer name on it!

Our next outting is going to be in 2-3 weeks, on either Saturday or Sunday. Local Humbudz: let me know which date is best for you, I will try to optimize attendence.

We will be hitting the San Bernardino Mountains, starting from Lake Silverwood and heading upto Arrowhead: experience required. Distance from L.A. is about 1.7 hours, should be beautiful AND challenging! [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]
