Just to Clarify then, there would be discount on the Lux Package, Automatic transmission or Chrome Package? What exactly IS on the invoice of the vehicle?

Yes, those items are considered part of the invoice. In fact, you can order the front brush guard, and other accessories, and if they are part of the original order, they are part of the MSRP.
However, let me add some more confusion to this MSRP versus dealer installed accessories.
Items such as brush guards, side steps, etc., can be ordered as part of the MSRP and are discounted. Many of these items are shipped to the dealer separate from the vehicle, but GM pays the dealer to install onto the vehicle.
However, these same items can be purchased as a dealer installed accessory, not part of the original factory order, and the dealer can charge whatever they wish for the part and installation.
If the item is listed on the MSRP label that is attached at the plant, it will be discounted. If it is installed but listed by the dealer on a separate label, then it will not be discounted.
So, if you are wondering a lot, just take a good look at the MSRP label, those are the factory ordered items, regardless of who installs them.

Brought it home tonight! Couldn't find an all black w/sunroof so we decided to go chrome. Fortunately with the help of f5fstop GMID we were able to get one with all the goodies we didn't expect. Thanks again for all the help. We will post pics soon as our lost digital is replaced.

I have a fully loaded lux/chrome/off road package, it orginally had a sticker of 41k and with the gm employee discount it came down to 33.3k

Congrats first off

Secondly, not sure if this has been discussed but have you looked at pulling equity from your home? Take an equity line out for the purchase (most places will do this now without any closing cost). Then make payments to your equity line (more flexibility) and also this interest is tax deductible come tax time. Just and thought and what me and the wife did.<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Originally posted by TNTH3:
Thanks for all the great advice. We took a break on decision making over Christmas. I'm going to write the dealer we have been working with and see what they can come up with. I'll stay updated. Anybody bought in North Carolina or Virginia? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I have two waiting for Jan 1 to get GMID numbers. So, if you are either Adam or Pete, the answer is yes. If not, the answer is no.

f5fstop, I plan on waiting till spring to get my H3, no sense ruining it in the harsh Canadian winter. Would you know if your GMID certificates are valid in Canada? I don't need one just yet, I just want to cover all my bases.

I am not sure. My advice is to call a few Canadian dealers and ask. There may be a process for GM of Canada employees to provide a similar service.
