I just love my new H3 (white), I traded my Prerunner Toyota. I to went in just to look and ended up leaving with a H3, I just wanted to show my husband how cool they are and had no intentions of trading my truck which only had 7000 miles on it but after the test drive I was hooked. Only thing that sucks is now my husband wants to drive it instead of his truck ,which by the way a very cool truck with every option, I couldnt get him to drive my Toyota so thats the ONLY down side to this happy girls new purchase.

Hiya all! I'm new to the boards. First, I would like to thank all who have posted here, you have provided so much info on the H3.
Last Thursday, I made the big leap, I ordered a H3. Wow, to me, this is such a big deal. I never thought I would have one. I'm a janitor for a school system in Ohio. Hehehe, imagine a janitor driving a Hummer to work! I did get the GMID info from here and it saved me over $3000. I wouldn't have been able to do it without that. I ordered mine from Cleveland Hummer, about 34 miles from me. I was also talking with Columbus too, they seemed to be so willing and helpful, but the distance of driving there kept me in Cleveland. I'll be trading in my Avalanche which I just love. I hate to get rid of her, but the H3 has been calling my name for so long now. I will be sacrificing the hauling capacity but I think I can get by.
Here's what I ordered:
Superior Blue with Adventure package
automatic transmission
monsoon stereo with XM
black tubular side steps
I plan to install a mac mini in it next summer with some sort of small flat screen somwhere. Not exactly sure how and where yet, but I'll keep you all updated.
Anyone else that has ordered and received their H3's, how long did it take? They told me 6 weeks.
Thanks again for the vast amount of info on this forum
Brian

Thanks for the link for the mods! I cant wait to pick up my new h3 tomorrow, I'm pumped. If the hummer community is half as fun as the Honda Sportbike community then this site will be loads of fun.

Just wanted to send a note to thank everyone on the forum for the insight that I've acquired on the H3. The information here + a test drive did the trick. The pics, posts, avatars and the testosterone make this site alot of fun. Picked it up last Friday with 6 miles on it! I'm still stoked! Thanks again.

I got my Victory Red H3 on the 4th of July weekend. They made me wait for this one coz I wanted the lux and adventure package in red. I then took it to a Hummer off road event and that baby didn't let me down. There were trails where as a weekend warrior for some years now I thought what the heck are we thinkin? But all the Hummer techie gurus said keep a steady foot on the gas pedal and point your Hummer to the sky (literally) and let it do the work. It truly is a Hummer! Piece of advice...if you get invited to a Hummer off road event...GO! Experience your Hummer like it was meant to be. GO!

Glad I found this site. I did a lot of research here before we bought our H3 in Nov. I knew exactly what I wanted, but the dealer (Hummer of Pleasanton) didnt have it on the lot, until they checked a shipment that came in that day. Took a few hours to finalize everything, and then the problem was "Who gets to drive it home?" Had to take it back to the dealer 2x for them to install optional equipment that they didnt have in stock. So far we have added the Roof Marker Lights, Chrome Running Bars, Chrome Gas Cover, Chrome Roof Rack, and the DVD System. Still have a long list of accessories that I want to add...
