I had to re-read this, I was totally confused. I thought the H2 hit the two cars, but it was not your H2, but someone elses....

Glad everyone was ok!

Yeah thats exactly where it happened. My office is in the 2nd story of the Destin commons so you can know how close i was to her. So your condo was on Holiday Isle right? Im actually doing a mortgage for a client who is purchasing a singlel family backed up a canal from the Harbor--to the tune of 1.6mil...right off of Gulf Shore on Magnolia. Dont know when you dumped your condo but we have seen exponential appreciation in the past three years. Im going to scope out Eglin AFB reserve for wheeling this weekend so if you come in town give me a ring and I imagine we could have some fun.

I think that is very important when purchasing a bulldog. So many of them have bad health and occasionally nasty temperments(can be very alpha--not friendly with other male dogs mostly). Heres a couple more recent pictures of Hoss:

this was obviously at christmas:

It was six or seven years ago. I actually haven't been back to Destin in the past 3 or 4 years. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I was still in Baton Rouge up untill about 3 years ago, but my guess would be you would hardly recognize Destin(although you clearly did from the photos). It has really boomed.

Not sure which unit you owned but here is a recent sell in the same building. It sold in August for right under 2.4million:

http://ecarmls.com/EmeraldReports/li...sp?ID=75164276

If you remember your unit # i can tell you what it last sold for but then again that might disgust you if i havent already. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>I have no idea what the unit number was. It was the first floor of condos (or on the second floor if you consider the garage and storage on the first) on the west side of the building. We had the balcony that had steps down to the parking and wrapped all the way around the condo on both sides (pass and harbor sides). We owned it as Emerald Isle, LLC.

I'm a little late here (especially for an OT highjack).

But here are some pictures of Rosie!

She is a cross between a Hippo and a land manatee.

I thought that was it. Looks like you sold for around 800k. That unit hasnt sold since but the one that was sold in August for $2,400,000 appears to be a comparible to yours. Same building, same sq. ft, only two stories higher but its not a penthouse so value should be equivalant.

Sorry, Boss, that's far from being a total loss. But I had the same sentiments about hoping for a total loss after my wife crashed her BWW a while back.

Thanks Alec. I've been struggling with these guys about staying on topic for weeks now.

I like soy sauce on my egg rolls. Actually, I like soy sauce on most anything.

Actually, Boss, you sent me pics of your brother's dog a while back, but I can't ever get too many dog pics...LOL.

I wish I'd know about Renascence (sp?) before, but I don't love mine any less for not knowing.

Did you see the pic of Enzo above, also?

Have you priced the new V10 M5? Ouch! But damn, I want that car! ;-)

Yeah that V-10 is nasty expensive but would be an awesome machine. IMO the BMW is the ultimate driving experience. That sucks about your wife. Weve had hers for a couple years so its almost time for a new one for her anyway. Lola is great--u just gotta love a bulldog.

Nah, the reporter was kinda b1tchy, you probably wouldnt want it. Yeah we own the BMW free and clear if thats what you mean. I was driving the Hummer. She called me after it happened and my office is within a mile so i was there quickly.

CP--you must mean this guy???

He was at home protecting the fort--but he does come out with me often. Hes actually the reason why i upped to the H2. Destin is a very small town with a population of about 10,000 and about 900 million tourist.
