Below is a link to a video that displays part of the reason I have an H2. I was at the farm and my Dad said he heard some coyotes on the place. It was wet and cool and I had no desire to take my 4 wheeler to go hunt them. I put my rifle in my H2, turn on the heated seats and looked for them. I turn the camera on in case I did run into some coyotes or other animals. I chopped this vid down but it is still a large file since it was shot at night I kept the resolution high. It does stream though.

Nice vid paragon. I hope you had some magnetic brushshields on or something Those trees really had it out for you

No shields or anything. I didn't think much about the limbs and stuff until it was brought up here after I posted the vid. No scratches or damage, trees around here are soft wood.

The trees and bushes grow thick and fast around here and rubbing up against small branches is just going to happen. One of the reasons I always get white vehicles, the rub rash doesn't show up as bad and you can get it waxed and most of it goes away.

Ok, three minutes into this video and not one shot/kill...I was expecting a barrage of .50 cal gunfire into a next of whatevers being hunted. Then for the H2 to run over the survivers...Im sooooooo bummed now..

First, never will there be a barrage of gunfire. One shot, one kill. Second, unless I was shooting .50 Beowolf, a .50 is just not practical. It's too big to get in and out of the truck with, otherwise......

Well, I have a new nighttime video. It'll be a couple of days before I put it up but it is the complete opposite. In the city, going to Outback to pick up some food, bad weather and some loud ass marble sized hail beating the crap out of the truck. And, Oh, a couple of good shots of lightning too.

I was almost sure that a shot would be fired at the end of the video, and a nice furry critter would be the prize. May wanna try a few critter calls next time, and let them come to you. Although, then you wouldn't be able to show off the H2's capabilities.
How is the camera set up?

Good video!

Oh ****!!! Are all of the vehicles out there textured like golf balls?

I saw you missed your chance to hide under an overpass at 1:34.
When you were sitting in the parking lot it sounded like you were in a dryer with 5lbs of marbles.

Nice catch on the lightning.

Damn! I know I'd be sick. Sorry to see that. How bad is the damage?

Gloom, despair, and agony on me.
Deep, dark depression – Excessive misery!
If it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all!
Gloom, despair, and agony on me.

I couldn't get closer because the stupid gate on the fence was slinging around in the wind. There was no dumpster in there by the way.

My thoughts were the fiberglass would have held up much better than the rest of the truck. The windows are near vertical, etc, so I sat. The back glass back half of the truck wasn't getting hit, it was from about midway of the second row doors forward.

My Jeep was caught out in softball size a few years back and it had something like 8 dents in the hood. Every other car in the parking lot looked like a golf ball and nearly every window was knocked out.

I might get a mobile version of the sonic device the Nissan plant has to try stop hail . Here is a story about it:
<UL TYPE=SQUARE>Jackson 02/03/04
Nissan Uses Device to Stop Hail

By Bert Case
bert@wlbt.net

Nissan demonstrated its new device designed to protect its parking lot from a hailstorm for WLBT News on Tuesday. It is a cannon that sends sonic waves up to 50,000 feet in the air to keep hailstones from forming.

There are more than 400 such machines in operation in the world, and this is the ninth one installed in the United States. They are made in Canada and are used primarily to protect crops. It works by using its own radar to detect the conditions that are favorable for hail to form.

It automatically activates when its own weather radar system detects conditions favorable for the formation of hail. It fires every 5.5 seconds, making a sound we know can be heard at least five miles away from the Nissan plant near Canton. It then starts sending sound waves into the cloud every five-and-a-half seconds.

The sound at ground zero is about 120 decibels, or about the same as a tornado warning siren. Workers are installing fences around two of the machines in the 140-acre parking lot at Nissan and filling the fences with hay in an effort to reduce the sound level.

Eric Rademacher is an environmental engineer with Nissan who is an expert on the Hail Suppression System.

"Hailstones are formed and begin with a piece of dust in the clouds," he explains. "There is a lot of activity going on, and what we do is to de-ionize that activity in the clouds and keep those dust particles from collecting moisture out of the clouds in turn reacting and forming what we know as a hailstone."

If you ever hear this system activate in Madison County near Nissan, it's time to get yourself and your vehicle protected from hailstones.

Nissan hopes it will save millions of dollars worth of vehicles from hail damage. They won't say what it cost, but admit they won't really know if it works until there is a hail storm over the plant. The sound is produced by igniting the same material used for welding.

This is the first such machine used by an auto-manufacturer. The man who installed it bought a Nissan Pathfinder Armada, which is made at the plant.[/list]
