Too bad it's past his bed time, now I have all this popcorn and no entertainment. Oh well, no school tomorrow so he'll be back.

Back on track,
That is impressive seeing the support for the H3 on JU. Definitely well deserved.
Now if we can get the "Psycho Moab Crew" to invite a few H3'ers for some rock fun.
That in itself would be an impressive video.

In 4lo, the traction control is off. I've already spun it on a really steep climb. I'm used to a front locker from the last Scout I built. I'd really like on on the H3. Problem is, in low range, it'll break parts unless they're beefed up. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
My manual says "No". So, on page 10 of the Hummer capabilities guide supplied to me when I bought the H3 with Adventure pack, it says on item #3. 4LOW LOCK
- Creates a totally different set of gear ratios with the transmission reducing the ratio of each gear by 2.64:1 or 4.03:1 (based on the transfer cases's gearing)
-Traction Constrol (TC) engine control is automatically disabled.
Lemme know how I'm wrong, I've got thick skin and am not easily irritated and love it when someone teaches me something about my equipment that I did not know or clears up any misconceptions I may have.
DOH!!!!!!

Thanks for the clarification. Personally, i really like the H3...perfect size...and the rear locker is pretty cool. The ride is quite impressive BTW...quiet and smooth.
My brother is going to get his Dell friend to see if he can get a discount on the H3.

It is nice to see the H3 given the respect it's due. Especially by those guys.

I find it therapudic for them to come to terms with the truth, (and I was one of them) there are better 4X4's out there, like HUMMERS.

Wow, it got quiet on this one. After the unabashed enthusiasm, I figured there'd be more entertainment!

Where's the entertainment??
I just want to update this forum...
Drifty & boyfriends took the time to register at benzworld to spam. Pathetic. And guess what?? They did all this ON A SATURDAY NIGHT!! How sad is that?!! Lonely souls...jerking off in front of the computer...is your keyboard sticky yet??!!
I bet that you guys even call each other up while spamming and chit-chat like little schoolgirls talking about each other's menstrual cycle!! Sad.
Why don't you be a real MAN and register with your REAL name...and then have a friendly discussion about H2 vs. G?
You guys realize that I HAVE OWNED you guys, right?! Spamming Benzworld is no big lost to me. It just proves my point more and more.
And by the way, Drifty, i guess that YOU ARE WRONG about the H3's 4wd system, huh??!!
Thanks for the discussion. I do feel bad for the other civilized members on this forum.
Take care.

Huck, does TC shut off ONLY when you lock the rear axle locker OR when you go into 4-LO?? I guess that GM had to make 4wd system a bit different from the H2's system.
Thanks in advance.

The book reads exactly as above. When you select 4lo, you have no TC. I don't think the rear locker has anything to do with it. One reason I WOULDN'T like TC in lo is that it's braking. When things are hairy, and you're really struggling to get up an obstacle, you don't want anything clamping down on any forward movement, at all. On a slippery slope in 4hi, you can feel the vehicle slowing down despite having your foot in the go pedal. This is the reason for being able to disable it. For normal driving and great control on a snowy road, it's an awesome system. If it keeps you from making the last ten feet of a hairy arsed ascent, it could be a very BAD thing!
