That's easy to say when you don't have a 2007mi drive starting Sunday.

Are the lights still on in the IP? If so, it might take a few key cycles and driving a few miles for it to "realize" things are fixed itself.

Or it might have to take a Tech2 tool to fix it.

Speaking of "key cycles" I wonder if a bad Ign. Switch can FU the T-case shifting too? Seems like it can be the cause of everything else acting up in the truck. I carry a spare switch in the glove box just in case one goes bad.

That's too damn funny?

I'm thinking we need to find a decent frame-bent salvage H2 and all pitch in and buy it. When we have big trail rides we can just stick it on a trailer and scavenge parts off of it as needed (it's a ready made storage system with bolts and stuff already cataloged ) and if someone needs something some other time, just pull the part and send it to them.

We would have to come up with some system of buying the new parts to replace the old ones being taken off so that it stays fair to everyone.

I thought I read somewhere he said that they read the codes with a programmer and that there weren't any. Not sure though

Yeah we did, but it was VIN locked- doesn't mean it can't detect codes though, I think it should have worked- it did not show any, but the abs and <STRIKE>TC</STRIKE> light are still on the dash.

Who knows- it is driving fine in 4hi and we will prolly get down to the bottom of everything back home. Then I am going to give Big Nasty a spanking for giving us so much trouble on our trip. He has been a very bad boy.
