Yo Bond (if you ever get out of bed ), how much time will we have at Rasor and when will we have it? Saturday night or Sunday morning? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Yo Rodski. I never went to bed. I'm on a natural high these days - the desert just kinda does that to me!
Roger on the additional H2. We have to be rapidly approaching our 15 rig cut off??? OUTSTANDING!
As far as your choice of motels goes, okay. I won't say another word. Bunster Boy.
By the way, isn't typing while on the upswing of a manic depressive cycle fun?
As far as when we hit Rasor OHV goes, there is a change in our schedule! Because of the # of rigs, I'm afraid we will take longer and not make it across the lake before nightfall (Rasor is on the far side of Soda Lake)soooooooooo... Is it, would it, can it be possible to start out a little earlier? Say 7:30 or 8 instead of 8:30? If not, it's okay - but it might mean a little less twilight driving. AND we will camp at 17 Mile Point - which is right at Kelbaker Road for those heading north to Rodster's Bun Boy Motel and Massage Parlor.
That means we'll hit Rasor first thing Sunday morning and have a lot of time to play.
Lemme make a map up here tonight and post it so y'all know what I'm babbling about.
Check back shortly!

For those of you that are going, regular old tape works fine. I've used Blue Painter's tape and all was great.
Rod, I trimmed our shields about 1/2" short all the way around so I could get the tape to find a surface. It's easier to get those front doors done.

I don't think that would work with the rear tire carrier ...
I discovered a thing called QuikFist.

Very handy on the Gobi. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Yes it is! Seriously - where did ya get 'em? Tell me more about 'em? PLEASE???

Or maybe they're trying to make sure that the print out of the thread is thick enough so that there'll be at least one decent obstacle that everyone can drive over on the trail

I'm no mind reader but I think he was looking for a middle ground between himself, San Diego and Afton Canyon. Aren't you a bit north of that?

Alec,
Bring your winch. We are in for some SERIOUS off-roading.
Also, hope you enjoy my rapier wit. I'm gonna have you guys really chuckling around the campfire. We'll talking about those "warm pussies" I mentioned in my previous bosts.

Yes - there is a hotel in the area! If you do Saturday, you can exit just a couple miles north of our campsite to the 15 and then just about 20 miles south to Barstow and hotels - and come back and meet us in the AM to finish on Sunday!
</div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Or, 5 miles north on Rasor Road and go 12 miles to Baker. Eh? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Yeah, you're right. N to Baker is a little closer than S to Barstow!
