Alright, I give in and I will not return to H2Source again. I went back and read the posts on the first page after my associate's (mwill9530) original post. The reason I jumped in extends from these two replies:

- "For your company's sake, I hope you're not in charge of anything important."

- "Most of these members can't even wait till morning to get in their H2s and you expect a serious response???"

So my response was apparently out of line after reading this. But I was not expecting to get this kind of reply. So, fine, you win, please except my sincere apologies for offending anyone on this board. It was not my intention, I was really just looking for help from the H2 experts.

I certainly don't think posting a request like this is some sort of outrageous thing. Yes, I actually thought that someone on this board might be willing to rent me their own personal H2 for a generous fee. If all of you think that is a stupid idea, what can I say. I thought many of you actually owned these as second vehicles and may not use them on a regular basis. I am not in the business of acquiring vehicles for every promotion we do. This is a new deal for our agency and we have never had to rent such a high profile vehicle for such a short period of time.

Once again, thanks to those who did offer information and my apologies to all.

Hey MAC, if I invited a someone over to my house, and then a friend of mine did nothing but insult him, I'd smack the **** out of him.

And since Alec invited this person to this forum in good faith, I think a lot of you are need of a good ass whipping.

Got a new friend, kick away old buddies? Drtyfn and Dennis been around for a long time, they never said a bad word about you, they treated you with respect, and what did you do to them? You are certainly not the guy I want in my foxhole. With a friend like you, who needs an enemy?

What kind of friend who can't take friendly jokes, and say this to your "friends".

" posted 10-01-03 09:23 AM
Good lord...you people (DRTYFN) are a bunch of JACK ASSES!
Apparently the folks on this board (except Steve R. who I met on the DISCOWEB site) are not a very intelligent community with relative and constructive suggestions. I got more info from the folks who own Land Rovers then all of you, and they laugh at H2 owners all day long. (except Steve R.)
Thanks for nothing. I am glad I own a Land Rover if this is the type of people I would encounter in an H2 outing or event."

Mac,

Thanks for the defence . Something was fishy with Matt. STUPID question was returned with a STUPID answer. His RUDENESS was returned with RUDENESS as well.

Detonate is just being bitchy over a thread disagreement. I told him earlier I`ll stay out of his way and vice versa. There`s no fun when it gets out of hand with another member. That`s all.

Alec,

Actually if I knew you introduced him here, mabye I would have let up on him. He was just too vauge. Mabye he was bonified but after what Mac suggested, I doubt it. I hate rubbing with the GURUS!

Todd,
No **** you've never had an account like this before!! I'd be surprised if your company had done anything more complicated than set up taste test tables outside of the local grocery store.

quote:
Alright, I give in and I will not return to H2Source again. I went back and read the posts on the first page after my associate's (mwill9530) original post. The reason I jumped in extends from these two replies:

What a total lie!!! The response of mine came directly after your snotty reply.

quote:

Come on guys, I knew we would get the smartass replies, but do any of you have a real responses other than NC?

This post is intented to find someone who owns an H2 as a second vehicle and would rent it to my company, or to get some good suggestions on where to get a 3 month lease.

Ring a bell? Or are you gonna "Clinton" on us and deny that also? I don't think any of us were aware that we were your secretaries. Do you own god damn job.

And you never addressed my comment about liability. No matter what type of waivers would be signed the owner of the H2 would still be in a position (however far removed) of liabililty. Scumbag attorneys don't care who they sue.
But you're not used to thinking that far ahead, are you?

One last point. If you owned an H2 would you respond (in a serious manner) to the following post from an unknown person that's posting for the first time?

quote:
I need to lease or rent an H2 for 3 months, from October through December for my company.

I need it for use in CA, AZ, NV, TX. I also need to wrap to serve as a sponsorship vehicle, which will be wrapped and unwrapped by my company.

If anyone is interested in making some extra cash or has any suggestions, please let me know right away via email – matt.williams@active.com

Didn't think so.

But thanks for stopping by. We've had fun poking at you.

Detonate, you feeling better yet, or are you still PMSing?

Una, that's the spirit. Its all for fun, its Entertainment! nothing personal, totally irrelevant and I have no problem communicate calmly with this Todd in another topic today or tomorrow. Everybody is free to come and go as they please and say whatever they want, I got chased down the forum street by these thugs before, and I'll chase them down and run them over with my Hummer at every opportunity I get. What are friends for?

Mac,
You did not get chased down the forum street by thugs, you fibber.
And you know that you'd never run anybody down either. It might get that pristine ebony stallion of yours dirty.

Thanks for reminding me that, I was just sitting here fantasizing on running you over with my Hummer, over and over again, but now the thought of having to wash off your filthy sick brain off my nice ebony tires made me puke. I decided to let you live.
