BTW All,

I do want to say that all you've been hearing about Racer is not true. He's a good guy. Back when I met Ginger I thought I was a one-woman guy (don't we all). Anyway, Racer has introduced the idea of "experimentation" and, well, let's just say this is going to be a "good trip" IYKWIM.

are those the covers that have the article? I seem to remember them having titles regarding the trip right on the cover. Maybe not.

Gobi ladder came today... Already installed. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Time to get serious for a sec - dammit. Did you drill the optional second hole at the top? If not, you really should - it's easy and it makes the damn thing ROCK SOLID!

Sean </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I did indeed, although I shed a tear while doing so. I'm 6'1" 200 lbs. No way I wasn't adding it. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Outstanding! Do you have the swing out spare tire carrier? If not, you could add a HiLift Jack mount on the back bumper. It's a great way to stow the jack, and makes a good first step up to the ladder!

Sean </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Spare is on the Gobi. I think if I ever got a highlift I would put it up top also.

I've been thinking about an SUT bed rack rumble seat for the kids. Little leather helmets and goggles, no worries 'bout puke.

K. Let's talk about the Mojave Road trip! Here in the longest thread ever to exist in this section of the forum!

We are still at 15 confirmed rigs (our cap) and everyone seems absolutely solid! Very cool.

There is going to be enough equipment for a small army which, I guess, is kinda what we are!

Looks like a couple more rigs may join in, unofficially of course ) at or about Seventeen Mile Point for Sunday's trek.

We're getting damn close - any questions???
