Default The Titanic is No Longer

Alas my friends, The Titanic is no longer. State Farm just called and totalled it (See "The sinking of the Titanic"). I was lucky enough to come out in decent financial shape since it was so new (6 weeks old). It was hard to pick up my stuff that was still in it knowing it was going to be salvaged.

My advice:

1. Do as I say, not as I do.

2. Stay away from water. If it's deeper than 20", don't put your beloved
Hummer through it.

3. Make sure you have good insurance.

4. Buy good off road tires (I suggest Pro Comp Xterrains). The stock tires
did not fare well in the mud next to the aforementioned pond of death.

Alas, I will be dealing with the blingers in the future. I ended up buying a used 2006 H2 for a good deal and went to the dark side. I must admit, I think the H3 group is much more off-road minded that the H2 set. I think if I read the word "bling" in a posting one more time, I'm gonna puke.

I will still pop in from time to time to get a breath of fresh (read: bling-free) air!

-The Captain.

Very Nice! I loved the submarine comment.

I have taken so much sh*t over this you all cannot imagine.

Of course I deserve it all!

If I was rich, I would lift the d@mn thing 10", put 40-20s on it, weld the doors shut, and put a quick release on the sunroof for emergencies...

Of course, as a buddy said, Maybe just pontoons instead of nerf bars would be better!
