Default my a/c quit

Hello,
I have on 03 H2 with 44k miles. My ac quit blowing cold yesterday. I was wondering if there was any issues with this or if i just need to take it in and get it charged. It blows hot. Can't think of anything else that it could be than just needing a recharge.
thanks for you help

Check some of the obvious things first before paying for a recharge such as the fuse for the compressor (its got an electronically controlled clutch) and then check to see if the compressor is even engaging

are the other functions of the hvac control panel working correctly? I'd try the other things mentioned on the thread.

Yep is all works fine, just doesn't blow cold. The belt looks fine. I check the fuse on the side of the dash. Is that the fuse that you guys are talking about? just thought that is was odd with only 44k miles, but i guess it is 5 years old. Thanks guys for the tips, I will check them out.

If belt is on and pump is pumping when engaged , try adding some freon. Its not freon anymore , its N-12 or something. You can buy a can at Napa for $15. The can has a hose that snaps onto your condenser line , then push top of can and fill system. If a/c doesnt blow cold after that take it to a shop. Only do this after you have checked the fuses , reset the brain , and checked the belt is on. doug
