Default Electrical Issues

I installed an overhead DVD system. All was going great until the last screw went in. I believe I shorted the B+ 12V constant, as I lost this voltage. I found another source for this voltage and the DVD install was finished. However I am now plagued with my screw up.

NoGo's
1. My Bluetooth in the headliner is not functioning
2. The vanity mirrors do not light up
3. The map reading lights do not light when the switch is depressed
4. The 3rd row reading lights do not light up

Go's
1. The coutesy light over ride switch functions
2. All courtesy lights function when the dimmer switch is scrolled all the forward to detent.
3. The front map light switch is capable of switching these lights off
4. All courtesy lights come on when the doors are opened.

Any advice would be appreciated, as I have racked my brain on this for some time. Not to mention my wife is giving me a hard time about calling her with no Bluetooth.

Thanx

I'm sure you've probably done it, but have you checked your fuses. I installed an aftermarket radio and CD player and shorted out a fuse and didn't even know it. I looked right at a burnt out one and could have swore it was OK, but I just changed it because it was my last resort before going to the dealer, and voila, everything has worked since.

My vanity lights didnt' work...and thus, I took it to the dealership.
"It was a simple fix," they said.
A fuse went bad...which caused my vanity lights not to work...as well as my interior dome lights.

As for where the fuse is located, I'm clueless.

If you find out, please share w/us.
