Default Anybody make HEAVYDUTY skidplates for H2's???

I didnt some rockcrawling last night... I smashed the "H2" skid plate covering the diff. HARD pulled 1 bolt out. The undercarrage ladder protection is completely shot. Its pushed up into the exhaust touching the CAT, pulled out the 15mm bolt on the drivers side peeling the corner back, The differential support near the Lower control arm is bent and dented in 2". And the drivers side door hits the front fender when opening now so I guess It twisted a little bit...

soooo back to my ?? does anyone make heavyduty skid plates or should I start making my own??

Wow, you must have really done some serious wheeling. I may have an extra skid plate and guard.

Let me know.

Mark

The day started out as easy wheeling. Rode my buddys polaris most of the day... I am out of town and didnt have my winch or and spare parts. I bye passed a section of boulders because it was getting dark and no winch/extra tierod... My buddys stopped ahead on the quads I pulled up and they started BOOing me talking trash on the H2 so I had to shut them up!! and i did a fine job. Tc2 helped a little also.
Thanks for the offer Mark on the extra parts but I wanna go stronger then stock, possibly the one posted above on rubberduck thanks for that link bye the way crush'em..

I attached some pics first one arrows show Bent Diff Support.
Second pic arrow shows cage pushin up cat over 1" and you can see the 5" it peeled down after the bolt gave out in the front.

I'd make my own, For the price of those aftermarket plates you could buy your own MIG and material.

The Rubberduck undercarriage is no doubt the way to go.

Hopefull I will be able to make this purchase soon. Man I gotta tell you my factory stuff looks like a crushed pop can as well. But I have never seen anyone bend the diff support. Also I twisted something as well with my frame I think when at Kinzalows this may. When I left My passenger door was catching the front fender area. I was able to adjust the body panels so they no long interfier with eachother.

yesterday I snuck my SUT on to a lift at my buddys shop quickly in between customers so i could get a better damage assement..... i didnt find anymore upfront. But i am very concerned about protecting the Fuel tank now!! its scratched to crap!! luckily i didnt tear it and spill 20+ gallons of fuel.

looks like I am gonna make my own plates at this point. 1/2 min steel plate maybe Hardox plate! if I can find it local . problem is I dont have the presses of brakes needed to work such thick material. there is a GREAT metal fab shop minutes from me. I will be stopping over monday morning to see what they say.

1/4" steel plate should be more than enough. 1/2" will be way too heavy

You can easily strengthen the OEM ladder rack by hammering in some 3/4" reabr down inside the tubes and welding it in. Of course, your requires straightening first

Particularly if its Hardox, which I have a suspicion you can't bend particularly well but I may be wrong. It'll be tough though....
