I have an 03 with 81000 miles on it and it just seems to have very little power when pulling a hill also it down shifts to a much lower gear than needed with the tach going up to almost 5 grand, I had new plugs an wires installed but still runs the same any ideas would be helpful Thanks

After you check for any codes run some Techron through it for several tanks of gas.

For a quick fix the TECHTRON is a great product. Sounds like a computer malfunction though by the way your describing the problem.
I had a similar problem in my SS silverado when I replaced the chip with the stock one prior to selling it. I took it to the dealer and they "re-flashed" it and after about 1/2 mile down the road it went back to normal.
