Default Nailed one today

Ran into this this morning on the way to work. 50 mph hard hit to the front end. No damage at all to the H2. Actually cleaned some of the dirt of of the bumper.

Hopefully you didn't just drive away to let the poor creature suffer.

Not allowed to carry in CA. I would have put a bullet in it but no gun with me. I guess I could have took the shovel off of the roof and beat it to death. It was dead by time I came home.

You should have called the cops and/or the game warden. At least that way, the meat could have been put to good use (most states have a means of donating the meat). A shame to waste it like that.

A guy I work with hit one in his Honda Element, it wrecked the front end so bad they totalled the vehicle. By the looks of the damage, he thought he had hit a cow, nope just a big buck.

They don't do that here in Northern California Bay Area. There are at least one 2 every week dead around the same area. Overpopulation.

Could I donate my meat to a home for wayward Canadian women?

You left it on the side of the road? Don't you know that there are thousands of starving Canadians would die for some deer meat?

Aren't your glad you were driving something with some muscle to it? I would be scared to death to be driving a compact car and have a deer come out on me. YOu get what you paid for? An H2 is a pretty safe bet vs. deer.

Both died on impact, called the police but they didn't have the time to come collect them.
They did taste good though
