Default Adding factory NAV in a non bose/monsoon H3

Has anyone added a factory nav unit in a non bose/monsoon equipped H3?

I have a small external 4 channel amp and a factory nav setup coming head antenna and disc.

I want to use a pac harness adapter so I do not have to cut anything factory if that is even possible.

I have read somewhere about the speed sensor wire perhaps not being in the factory radio harness and needing to be routed from the pass kick panel to the back of the nav head?

Can anyone school me on all info needed PLEASE!

I currently have the stock single disc head unit which has amplification built into it.

I know others have added the nav to the monsoon systems however I know they have a factory amp mounted in the rear quarter panel next to the monsoon sub. Again I do not have this system

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
UNO

I can't help with your question as I have the monsoon system, but I want to swap in the nav unit also. Where did you get your unit from? I've been keeping my eyes open but haven't seen one for sale. Thanks!

I've been checking on and off for a couple months. Guess I just keep missing them. BTW, did you search for this? I had posted to a thread a few months ago about this. I think it was on this site.

I don't think it would work if you didn't have an amp. But since you have an amp it might. On the nav radios there is no way to program them like on the regular radios for whether it has an amp or not. If you didn't have an amp, it would probably be very quiet. In your case, (since you have an amp) it may work. You also need the gps antenna.

Missed the one. The other ones over a thousand. That's out of my range. Now that I know what section they are under, I will keep searching there. Thanks!
