I am going to run with a 35X12.50 20" (or 37X13.50 20") set of Nitto Mud Grapplers. 20's are NON chrome BTW! 
Those that have/had the Nittos, how did they last? I am going to do a mix of on/off road with them. Any hard core off road I will be on my stockys and some BFG MT's or NMG as well.
I do not care if they are loud.

I was going to go with the Mud Grappler but I had several people tell me that they didn't wear all that well.
I'm more apt to think that the people that said they didn't wear evenly and wore out prematurely just didn't rotate their tires frequently enough.
I tend to rotate my tires around every 3K so my tires stay worn even.
One word of caution though, find someone that has them and physically measure them for height. I had ordered a set of Nitto terra grapplers tires for a previous truck... they were suppose to be equivalent to 35's, they were really only 33" tall.
I had to send them back.

I just got a set, same size as you are thinking of getting. they look mean, they do sound loud with the windows down but who cares! As for wear i dont know yet, i have only had mine two weeks but i can say i love them so far. Should have pics this week after taking the truck out today/tomorrow in the N GA Mountains

That would bother me if I bought a set of 35's and they are 33's. Anyone else find something like this? wonder if that is only the terra's? Maybe I ought to go with the 37's?
I too rotate my wheels/tires often.

i have the 35's and they are true 35's i checked after reading the previous post! they look great, wide beefy looking tire and no rubbing. I went wheeling this weekend, lots of mud and i was the only truck that didnt get stuck. Pulled out 2 jeeps and a full size dodge pick up. i had no problems what so ever with any of the terrain. I should have pics asap.

I hate to rain on your parade, VT, but here's a couple of cons:
(1) They suck at highway speeds. The truck has a mind of its own, and will track hard over pavement irregularities, scaring the crap out of you at times.
(2) They suck on wet pavement. The radical tread pattern doesn't put much rubber on the road for traction, and taking turns at speed is Russian Roulette.
(3) Buy a programmer, especially if you go with 37s. The extra weight of these tires hinders acceleration/engine performance.
(4) Again regarding 37s, brake performance is diminished.
(5) Cranking your torsion bars up for clearance can lead to premature wearing/stress/breakage of front end parts. A Fabtech heavy duty kit helps in this reagrd, but a lift kit is still a better alternative.
And see my comments in the other post about 37s rubbing/torsion bars/lift kit.

TxSut is right, they do track a little weird on the interstate..i havent scared myself but you can feel it pull. It feels alot like my viper or corvette did when you get in the grooves on the highway. The tires are loud also so be ready for that. I think they look great and seem to perform well off road from what i can tell so far. the 35's dont seem to make much of a difference in the power dept, or as far as braking is concerned.

I guess 35X12.5 is what I will go with. TX has me freaked on the tracking. I wonder if i should go with BFG MT's or TOYO MT's.  I am glad you replied---I was sold on those tires, you know.

Keep in mind that my highway speeds were in the 80s. But I have had a few scary moments on uneven pavement at lower speeds, especially where they're repaving this one particular stretch of a two-lane road that I use frequently.
Then there's this street coming into downtown Houston that slants to the left and has a groove running parallel to the dividing line. I was on that groove running at about 40 mph when the traffic light went red on me quickly. When I hit the brakes (hard), that groove and the slant pulled me into the lane to my left. Thankfully, no one was in that lane.

They have groved pavement all over the place up here during the summer months. If I do run them, I will be careful.. Thanks for the advice, very good to know!!!

i have toyos 37 drive is nice of coarse not like stock but still good. i have a 24" rim or i would of went with the BFGs for sure i love the look of that tire. also no noise on the toyos.

I have some 37 in mud grapplers on the way, I am wondering how bad they will rub without a lift? Also, I went to my local 4x4 shop to get my torsion bars cranked up but they said that they could not be cranked any higher. Whats the deal?

i have heard nothing but good things about the toyos. i was torn between the nittos and the toyos, i finally just went with the nittos and said screw it!

Good luck picking your tires. I like my BFG MT 35's. No power loss, and they balance fine. I have mine rotated frequently, and I haven't had any trouble with them. I'll either buy another set, or go with the Toyo. I've seen the Toyo's in Moab, and they perform great too.
Post a pic when you get them mounted and balanced. I gotta see Stealth Gray with non-chrome 20's.

Trust me I, as you know have a hard time finding the look I want, and I am one picky ass freak when it comes to what goes on my truck. If I am sorta happy with it - it comes off and that is that.
