Default rantin and ravin

Do people love to throw stuff at your hummer? or is it just me. Ive been hit by all kinds of sh*t, water balloons, snow balls, cups full of drinks and anything else you can think of! latest edition came tonight as i was on my way home from coaching my bros aau team. i was driving along a farm near where i live and a baseball comes flying from behind a rock wall and nailed my windshield right in my line of view and now im left with perfectly circular rings in the middle of my windshield. i pulled over and got out a trailer wrench(keep in the truck for times like this) but the little f*ckers were already gone. sorry to write all this but im sick of my truck being **** on by others who find it funny. i cant stand people who mess with others cars. to me its like breaking into my home... anyways rant over! but i do have a gobi rack on the way which makes my day a bit better

A woman once scratched some little letter-like thing on my passenger door. She got her Volvo pushed down the street.
Anyone in oncoming traffic that's dumb enough to flip me off and I have more than 2 seconds to react gets swerved at. Really funny to see the smug look turn to pants-sh1tting fear.

Guess I've been lucky. Flipped off by a jerk in a volvo. Only other was a woman in a lexus that wouldn't let me merge one night. Guy in the truck behind her saw what was happening and let me in. When I hit her with ALL the lights, she must have thought the sun rose in the West

I've never had any problems in the Ozarks. There are a lot of gravel/mud roads and in the winter you need 4 X 4 here (almost no snow plowing anywhere here except hwy 54), so I would say 40% of the vehicles here are 4 WD and you see a lot of Hummers, especially H3s. I did get mooned in my Hummer by two girls from a big yellow private high school bus a year ago - but I don't think that counts. Two years ago when the Mississippi flooded Clarksville I got a thank you letter addressed to Mr. J**** and his Hummer, from the mayor of Clarksville for helping with the sandbagging - very classy of them!

I have not had anyone throw stuff at my truck. But I have been cut off by prius's and sometime people don't want to make merging easy for you.

The one thing I cannot stand is when someone is riding my ass so bad I cannot even see the hood of their car. If its day time I give them a little break light action I just tap on the breaks enough to light them up and slow down a little. If that does not work I give them the rear facing drivers lights for a couple seconds. Then they back off. lol

I would like a sticker on my window that has a hummer holding a gun to the earths head. Maybe a caption that says, I picked the wrong day to quit smoking. "Or something else from Airplane or something. Maybe make a cartoon with a Hummer that goes around robbing people.

Some people just hate Hummers because of jealousy IMHO. When he comes to do your windhshield, make sure he uses sticky tape on the plastic side pieces or they will make noise and drive you crazy. I'm on my third windshield, and had to sticky tape one myself to keep those black plastic pieces from rattling in the wind. I feel your pain!

To put this in perspective, I live like a minute from BigZ and most of what I see has been young high school age guys that think they are funny.

One time in my old H2 a group of kids rode my bumper, then sped around me and shot me the old middle finger and sped off. I am pretty sure none of them had pants on and were jerking each other off, little ****ers...

Another time I am minding my own business in my H1, crappy old car full of kids does almost the same crap, but this time on a very quite residential road, and I was already speeding a little...I guess they get toghether and that is showing off to them? I am sure I have gotten the middle finger other times, but I have not noticed and could care less....the more they hate it the more I like it

Allow me to play the devils advocate for a second....Swerving and shinning lights at people isn't the smartest thing to do. Think about it! I understand the frustration, but swerving and shinning lights at someone on purpose can lead to serious issues. Do not combat ignorance with more ignorance

Nothing here but compliments and questions, the common being, MPG's, engine size, vehicle weight etc etc. Everyone admires the truck.

I got a middle finger once from a rather ugly, middle-aged woman in a tan Prius. I thanked her for helping off-set my carbon footprint.

Another time I was audience to a 'loud converstation held for my benefit' from an older couple in another tan Prius at a rest-stop. It went like this:

MAN: "Well, Honey, let's get back on the road."
WOMAN: "Ok...good thing we don't have to stop for gas."
MAN: "Yep...42 miles to the gallon...ha ha."
ME: "Yeah...me neither! 32 gallon tank. Have a nice day."

I find it gets more compliments when it's dirty and more dirty looks when it's clean.
