I like the stock chrome, but the blacked out look, looks good too. I just dont like blacked outed wheels. Roushdemon has a great look, but yet a touch of chrome in the wheels. I hate those damn Rock Stars all blacked out. But hey each thier own.

I can deal with chrome rims...but that's about it. To me, chrome rims are kinda 'old school'...

I think what drives me crazy about blinged out Hummers (or any new car/truck) is that the chrome isn't CHROME anymore...it's just a bunch of stick-on plastic.

By definition chrome is a steely-gray, lustrous, hard metal. If I'm gonna have plastic on my truck...sh!t it might as well just look like plastic and be body-colored or black (or coated in Line-X... )

...and don't get me started about 'stick-on accessories;' that's just one more thing that could pop off when it gets smacked by a tree branch. If I can't BOLT it to my truck I won't attach it.

That said...I also agree with Intercooled, to "each their own. "

Like the factory grille, but I've thought of spraying the side mirror inserts flat black. Chrome scares the deer away in deer hunting season. Still would like to know who shot my H2 two years ago on the first day of the season. Lesson learned - never conceal your H2 in the brush on the first day of deer season!

I agree that chrome wheels are not bad, UNLESS they are with low profile tires. I am only talking about Hummers here though. There are many cars, especially older ones, where chrome looks very proper.

For a tough capable truck like the Hummer though, I prefer no chrome. That's just me though.

Hmmmm, is there a pattern developing here?
