Re: SUNDAY
Just woke up.
Kid woke up at 6:30. Fed him, let him run around squealing until he exhausted himself. We both went down for a nap at 9. I woke up at 11, he's still sleeping. Ahh, quiet.
Hubby is doing taxes. Wrong. We got an extension since he was deployed. Made about the same income as last year but now have a kid, and he's showing a refund of about 1/3 of what we usually get. He'll be double checking that. That's Moab money right there.
So now we're killing time until the rain clears out. We got this awesome swingset for the kid's birthday a month ago, and it's been sitting in the garage until we could get the yard ready. The yard is ready now, but it won't stop raining. It looks to be clearing up, hopefully we'll get that put together today.
Grilling out later today. Yum!

Re: SUNDAY
We have a friend that is a single mom of two that essentialy just inherited 4 more kids(they were her sisters and she got killed in a wreck, then grandma had them for two years and she just tragicly died--long story). We try to help out as much as we can and we have all of them today...i just finished taking the boys(2boys ages 5 and 8 and two girls age 2.5 and 5--in addition to her own 8 and 12yr old). Caught plenty of fish...now i have to go clean my truck. The boys begged me to go through a mudhole by the pond so i couldnt say no

Re: SUNDAY
Just got home from the working the IRL race. 4 days of being outside for 12+ hours at a time in a fire suit in 95 degree weather really sucks. Good race though.

Re: SUNDAY
Get off work at 11AM, get home and sleep as long as I can. Wake up be at work at 11PM. Works easy unless a lot of stuff breaks (or should I say depending one what breaks). Last night I had to format and restore a unix hard drive. Directions say 20 minutes. Yeah right. Took 2 hours.
Hours suck but the overtime is great. Especially on holidays.

Re: SUNDAY
Just walked in from our trip to K-Rocks and Phil's house. Had a great time, everyone should (MUST) go to K-Rocks next year. It was really fun and the hotel was GREAT for kids. 2 pools and a slide and stuff. Lots of fun.
MUST SLEEP NOW.................................

Re: SUNDAY
Just got home about 45 mins. ago. Went and ran Slickrock Road today with Bebe, Racer-X, H2Bully, Bully13, and Evldave. Awesome trail but there was a ton of people up there because of the holiday weekend. I can't wait to go back when its less crowded.

Yeah like wednesday!
Ok, yeah right. Ok, that's my last post for tonight. I didn't get much stills so I'm going to start dumping the video onto the hard drive.

It's off Highway 4 at Lake Alpine / Ebbet's Pass. Above Bear Valley.
