Each have advantages and disadvantages off road. For me, the deciding factor is I prefer a manual fo every day driving.

Theres a 3 point turn ...a extra move(back/ forth) gives you a 5 point turn

I guess if you dont count the first foward you would be right, but if you swung foward at the top(after stopping)it would be 5.

I ask the drivers ed kids how many points are there in a 3 point turn if you need to back up again to avoid hitting the curb.
They all say 4 and its acually 5.

I've been up Lion's Back twice and counting points in the turn around is the least of my worries but ya you're right.

I got the luxury and adventure with the manual. Rare find indeed. Wouldn't touch an automatic.

manual. But, that is my preference for daily driving a slightly underpowered vehicle.

I also enjoy the crawl ratio of the manual.

I dont see what the problem is.
1: forward
2: back
3: forward
4: drive in reverse down the road in an h3 where you can bearly see out the back window.

i prefer auto in the 3, i only want stick in a sports car, or coupe, anything of that nature. Eclipse, 2008 accord, audi tt..u kno. Ive never driven a stick hummer,
but i drove my dads big rig once,(had to change gears before i hit 3mph) and it was unpleasent.

I had to ordered mine Lux w/ manual, my dealer said there just aren?t that many out there because there are not that many people under thirty years old that know how to drive them anymore (unless they are sports car drivers).
My 3 officially should have started being built yesterday, hope to see it in the next couple of weeks!

I got the 5spd just for the fact that I'm a control freak, and Auto Tranny makes me worry about the RPM's, yeah I know im paranoid. But I like the 5spd, and control over acceleration gears.

Manuals are great untill you get stuck in a traffic jamb for a couple of hours.

As old injuries become more apparent as I get older; the more I like my Automatic Tranny.

I think my dealer about passed out when I told him I wanted a manual. Unfortunately, I ended up having to settle for an automatic because I was told hey couldn't find an H3x fully loaded in my color (sonoma red) with manual. Even though I love my car, I am still debating whether choosing color and other options over manual was a mistake.
