I believe that the H2 is dead. Its too big and not green enough. If the H3 & newer models like the Hx could get 25+ miles per gallon Hummer would sell again. But what the hell do i know!

Have to say I'm kind of glad the deal didn't go through. I don't want to be driving a chinese hummer.

I'm glad I got to experience the thrill of driving one used H2 and two new H2's off the dealer lot. I'll be keeping mine for as long as the wheels stay on it. Might have to get a summer car so to keep some miles of the beasty.

I have mixed emotions about the deal not going through. Just something not right with Hummer being owned off shore.

Probaly not for a company the size of GM ..but at the selling price and the demand for the rig over seas and still here in the US ...it's a bargain.

How many Tesla Electric cars @ XX $100K dollars will sell here? Or any USA Hi performance supercars like the "Saleen" If I spelled that right ..or Corvette ZR-1 at $130K list will sell .

Or the Frieghtliner P4xl @ $250K per copy. Were talking about buying a brand for only 150 Mill ..Rights and Tooling. Why not? Build them on a limited basis thru select dealers. They were making the H3 in Africa..Their is a demand for them but the USA Market went JAP... and started freking out over gas prices.

But it's ok to own a pick up truck and get 13 mph but not a HUMMER.

They are in demand over seas at very high prices just like AMERICAN Muscle Cars are.

And yes it is a Love of the HUMMER Brand.
Name one rig Built kike the H2..... There are none.... "Like Nothing Else"

It's been said before, and we all know it to be true, that the Hummer is not only a vehicle it's a lifestyle. A lot of Hummer's problems have come through misinformation on the Internet. I read some of the comments in the msn article and they were so crazy I figured they were written by 12 year olds. Some of the comments were good, but when it comes to Hummers, you either love them or hate them, very little in between!
