Default 12V Power in the Rear Bumper

Does anyone know offhand where's a good place to tap into a 12v line near/on the trailer harness. I'd prefer a 12v that is controlled by the ignition, but will settle for an always hot if that's all I got.

I can't find my multi-meter or I'd start testing myself...thanks in advance!

I had everything all wired up to the red line in the trailer plug...and no power. WTF? Started looking for blown fuses only to discover that STUD#1 (trailer AUX power) in the fuse box under the hood has a 'blank.' Again...WTF?

A quick trip to Advanced Auto and I had a 20A fuse to swap with the blank...now we're good to go; but what's up with the blank in the first place?
