Personnaly i consider ANY car/truck 4wd if the transfercase contains a 4-lo. This is the defination that 4-wheel and off-road uses in their 4x4 of the year award, seems to make sense.

73' GMC long bed 4x4 1/2ton 350cid SM456/205 trans. Man i miss that truck.

97' Dodge Ram 4x4 short bed 360cid

01' Chevy Blazer 4x4 SLT (i hate it but my wife loves it)

85' Toyota 4x4 built for rock duty. The best of the bunch!!

04' Chevy Silverado 4x4 crew cab short bed 8.1L/Allison combo------- coming soon!!

I only have 4000 miles on it. I did take it elk hunting this year and it did well on the muddy roads and handled the bull elk my son harvested just fine. With the H2 in the stable I don't think I'll do much serious off-roading with the ZR2.

My list is way short

78 FJ60 Toyota Land Crusher (coolest)
00 Toyota Tundra (most reliable)
05 Hummer (best looking)
05 Subaru Baja Turbo (Fasted little POS I've ever driven)

Still regret selling the Land Cruiser. Damn it was a cool beast....Still have the Tundra. Damned good Truck. Gotta love those rice burners, made in Indiana.

Oh, and my dad used to race old CJ5's in the Nevada desert back when it was totally low key and not the mega bucks sport it is today.

73 GMC Jimmy - Full-time 4wd, lifted with 37s
83 Chevy Blazer - 4" lift with 35s
91 GMC Jimmy - 4" lift with 33s
99 Tahoe - 4" lift with 33s on 18" wheel
05 H2 SUT - soon to be lifted

and I still have the 91 Jimmy and the 99 Tahoe

My first was an 82 Subaru GL wagon! Rocking hand me down from my parants!

Then I was off to street cars and bikes!

My winter rigs came up to being a 87 Wrangler, 87 S-10, and then went on to cars again, only to move onto a 00 Jetta GLX, then a 02 GMC Z-71, 03 Tacome Double cab, and now the H2!
