What are the ideas on use of Slick 50 products in the H2
(Advanced Formula Engine Treatment,
Engine Treatment For High Mileage Vehicled,
Synchron Synthetic Formula Engine Treatment,
Fuel System Formula,
High Mileage Fuel System Formula,
Synchron Synthetic Fuel System Treatment,
Annual Automatic Transmission Treatment,
etc. etc.)?
Would any of these make a difference in function and durability of our rig's engine?

Dr. Aruba, I am not a machine oriented man and avoid getting my hands dirty, but according to what I read and saw here and there, auto magazines, TV reports and Hummer manual, DO NOT USE THESE STUFFS, they are absolutely no use, period.

These vehicles are getting so high tech that there are warnings (some are in our H2 manual)NOT to introduce additives into our drivetrain systems. Seems that the computer adjusts for emissions and some of these additives could affect the electrical signals for engine timing - at least this is what I gather from some service techs.

I've used some of these products in the past and can't say that I saw any improvement or value in using them...But, there are probably folks in the forum who will swear otherwise.

For me, I'm staying away from the additives.

JJ
