Did anyone get their h3 without mudflaps but then installed them after. without mud flaps my 33inch tires spit all kinds of crap on the sides of the h3 and i want to know if the mudflaps help out on throwing crap on the sides of the h3.

Many owners have gone back after the fact and they're pretty happy with them from what I've heard.

Didn't have them. Hated it.

Have them now. Love it.

It keeps from the slightest splashes getting up on the back fender. Keeps the damn rocks off there too.

Get them. Worth $65

Totally agree with H30H. Also, a small investment and they look good on there.

I got the standard mud flaps and they do help. Is there a giant size available? The H3 really looks rugged all muddied up, but I waited a few days to wash it and that road base with the calcium chloride or whatever they put on my dirt road dried like a rock to my wheel wells. B ut it sure was fun 'mud woppin' when I could have driven more carefully!

I think they are a great investment. Keeping rocks from hitting the side. Installation is easy so do it yourself and save.

I added them to mine (superior blue with adventure package), and I like both the looks and the function. They do help with the splashing on the sides.

If I can ever keep mine clean long enough I'll post more pictures, but every time I wash it it rains.

If you are going to do serious offroading, they may need to come off. They hang down low enough that if you bury the axles they'll probably get ripped off.

Do these bolt on, or are they applied with 3M tape?

Bought mine through Lynch Hummer / $80.00 Inc. shipping.
Easy Install. A must have item.
comes w/ screws and pop plugs.
I used 3-screws for each flap so I can get them of easily when wheeling.

Just had mine installed by the dealer yesterday. I still get alot of splash on the fender flares, seems like water is a little less but with mud on a dirt road, I see little difference at all. Is it possible to install them wrong (too high or too low)?

Two questions:

Do you need to drill holes to install?

Is the price for a set of two ora set of four?

Thanks!

I don't think there is a way to install them wrong, they fit the contour of the flares. 33" tires still stick out, so likely going to be some splash still.

Around $80 for set of 4. (list price is $48 per set of two)

You have to drill holes into fender flares (plastic, not metal).

They bolt on...no 3M tape job. They're worth it unless you like stone chips.
